McClenny, Fla. home -----
Mrs. Carr Bowers McClenny, age 79

The quilt has been under the control of Beaches Area Historical Society, Inc., (BAHS) P.O. Box 50646, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32240-0646 (www.beachesareahistoricalsociety.com) for many years and as of this date (July 25, 2005) is NOT on display nor has it been.

The Baker County Heritage Park (BCHP) museum in McClenny, FL would like to have the quilt and fifty-nine (59) McClenny family members signed a petition in 2005 asking BAHS to transfer the quilt to BCHP and the BAHS group has refused to do so. Obviously, the BAHS group is NOT listening to the family.
